Deekline – real name Nick Annand – is the seminal producer in dance music who balances the
cutting edge with the mainstream with effortless flair. Deekline divides his time between regular
worldwide DJ tours, relentless production work and running his five record labels – Rat Records, Sludge, Hot
Cakes, Jungle Cakes, Booty Breaks, – all of which function tirelessly to
propel street level artists into the forefront of the electronic music scene.

Deekline is a bonafide musical shapeshifter and represents bass music in it’s truest form.
His internationally successful and chart topping tracks such as ‘I Don’t Smoke’ and ‘Bring It
Back’ still continue to smash dance floors around the world. His enviable status in the difficult
American and Canadian markets have further enhanced Deekline as one of the UK’s strongest
production talents. His melting pot of dubstep, UK funky, garage, bassline, dancehall and
breakstep have gained him support from artists such as Diplo, Craze, DJ Hype, Afrojack,
Stanton Warriors, Plump DJs and Krafty Kuts.

His back catalogue of collaborations with artists such as Wizard, DJ Assault, Fast Eddie, Kid
Sister and Freq Nasty showcases Deekline’s incredible diversity, and is a testament to his
overwhelming demand in the electronic dance music scene. His recent work with Tim Healey
on an Island Records release from new-blood Encore will launch his bootleg of ‘Go Outside’ – a
track originally released on Lily Allen’s record label.

Musically, Deekline has a lot of exciting new things on the horizon. His new album with Ed
Solo, ‘Bounce and Shake’ is about to drop, Central Station have snapped up his release ft
Florida Bass Music legends Splack Pack ‘Shake the Pressure’ and he has collaborated with
Wizard and Ed Solo on a remix of Rebel MC’s massive track ‘Tribal Bass’

Deekline has expanded his empire with his new endeavour Bass Boutique – which is a creative
music, fashion, art and lifestyle online store. It combines his passion for the creative arts with his love of music inspired fashion, including vintage hip-hop apparelt. Bass Boutique is quality controlled by a team of DJs and headed up by
Deekline himself, it brings together fashion from top designers as well as music chosen by the
people who created it.
